Blue Door is the home and work place of two potters -- we are just above Washpit Mill about 1 mile / 1½ km from the middle of Holmfirth.
Directions: From the centre of Holmfirth go up Dunford Road (signposted Sheffield, B6106) for about ¾ mile / 1km passing ‘Crag Rats’ theatre and bar on your left. Shortly after this take the first right, Washpit New Road (sign-posted Westwood Yarns). At the first junction, with Rowan Yarns in front of you, turn right and follow the road as it bends past Westwood Yarns and steeply up Green Lane (with cobbles in the middle of the road). Blue Door is at the top of the hill, on the left, on the corner of Green Lane and Lamma Well Road – it is No 4 (and has a blue door!).
