I'd like to offer a huge word of 'Thanks' to all those that have made this years event possible: Thanks for your help with the website, the brochure, photography, PR, Taste of HOST, the finances(!) and all the positive votes of confidence that have been given along the way. If you would like to get involved with next years' event, please get in touch - plans are on their way already, so don't delay! We hope to open up into North Kirklees, Halifax, hopefully Bradford & Wakefield, possibly Leeds! Here's to a great open studio trail...enjoy! Dionne
Now the website is up and running, I'd like to say thanks to all the artists and venues for making our job of putting this site together an easy one.
Dionne, of course has been a driving force in determining the structure and layout of the site, but without your input there wouldn't have been much content.
I'm glad you all found our content management system so easy to use, and I look forward to helping all of you who have approached us to use it for your own websites.

The "Taste of HOST" exhibition is now in place at the LBT, and it is stunning in its diversity and detail, already proving a great source of discussion! So thank you to all the artists who have taken part, for your understanding, support and dedication, it shows, and I'm sure you'll see it was definitely worth it.
Anyone wanting to come along and explore we're open 6 days a week, there's a leaflet/ map available (ask at Box Office), or if you're wanting a greater insight come and see Lisa Marie Barraclough Tobin. Lisa is our first ever Visual Artist in Residence, she will show you her studio space in the Balcony Bar, the full range of artists involved in a "Taste of HOST"... and a couple of extra exhibitions, she can be reached on 01484 484408
