HOST takes place on the last two weekends in September and for the first time we are giving people the opportunity to also open their studios to the public during the week inbetween as well if they wish. Because each venue will have its own opening days and times in the HOST brochure and on the website it up to you if you want to open just one or both weekends. Opening times for the weekend are 11am till 5 pm both weekends but opening times during the week are optional.

HOST Preview Evening -  Friday 17th September - 6pm - 8pm

Weekend One - Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th September - 11am - 5pm

Mid Week Openings - Monday 20th to Friday 24th September - Optional

Weekend Two - Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th September - 11am - 5pm

HOST is for all artists who want to open their studios to the public and live or work in Kirklees.

HOST Fees

£45 – Recent graduates from University of Huddersfield (2008, 2009 and this year)

£65 – Artists who took part in HOST last 2009

£70 – Artist who are new to HOST

Each year we try to keep the cost of HOST as reasonable as possible. Here’s what you can expect from your submission fee:

- Celebration Launch and Preview at the prestigious Creative Arts Building part of the University of Huddersfield.

- Your own webpage on www.hoststudios.co.uk which will be online for 12 months.

- Inclusion in 3000 copies of the full colour brochure with a PDF version downloadable from the HOST website.

- 10,000 double sided full colour flyers promoting HOST.

- Regional and Local promotion and press coverage.

- Search engine optimisation for your name and your practice.
