Sue Clay ia local established textile artist,well know for her fine felted wall hangings and delicate nuno-scarves and accessories. She wrks as artist in Schools,colleges and community projects and also lectures in non-woven textiles. Her Holmfirth studio is a hive of activity throughout the year as Sue runs Fun Art Workshops for children,felt parties for Adults and children and 'Dine and Felt 'days for anyone who would like to learn and practice this ancient art of feltmaking. Her latest venture is the builing of a new studio with disabled access and facilities built (but she is saving up to put the disabled toilet facilities in).
