I am a textile artist making rope sculptures. The materials I use are sisal rope of various thicknesses and a variety of yarns. I employ a crochet technique to complete the construction. I am happy to teach both children and adults this technique. The sculptures vary considerably in size. Some are approx 2 metres high and are suspended. Others are self standing and can be as small as 30cms high. I am constantly experimenting with new materials and techniques to create work that is innovative and exciting. I welcome meeting new people and sharing ideas. I look forward seeing you at the Lawrence Batley Theatre in the upstairs bar exhibition space.
