Sculpture
Jamie Frost was born in 1977 in Huddersfield. He trained as a sculptor, particularly as a modeller and carver. He has always drawn prolifically. He has worked on various commissions and has exhibited widely. He was artist in residence in a Tuscan arts centre, during which time he was particularly inspired by Florentine renaissance sculpture. Jamie now works from his studio in Denby Dale producing figurative carvings and drawings. He recently won the Talos award at the Society of Portrait Sculptor's annual exhibition in Cork Street. Jamie teaches a comprehensive program of sculpture and drawing classes form the studio. See his website for more details.
