I am Resident Artist at the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield and also have work on show at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. My work focuses on my perception of the natural world. The concept of space and how it is shared - not just by humans. An examination of existence and identity. Family characteristics, human nature, the passage of time and the memories left behind. These are my inspirations. I work with wire of varying gauge and texture. I enjoy the pleasure of working hands -on, the tactile approach. The idea determines the material. The interaction of air and light reveal the vitality and movement of the form, especially when exposed to the elements.
