Printmaking
I am a printmaker and photographer. I use many methods to produce prints, specialising in relief (lino and wood cut) and collagraph. I also use etching, lithography and monoprint, combining methods. I am currently using monoprint with digital photography.
My photographic practice is principally urban in subject matter. I celebrate the forgotten, abandoned, unmemorable, transient aspects of city streets. I record chance associations of objects, structures and people, and the marks that people make on their environment. I look closely, and find beauty in the most unremarkable places.
