My inspiration comes from landscape and the natural environment, from many places around Britain and abroad. As I am based in Marsden, I have immediate access to the landscape of the moors and waterways, so that many of my linoprints and etchings are based on local views. I start from watercolour studies and drawings outdoors exploring the colours of the changing seasons. In my studio, visitors can see how I make multilayered colour linoprints, as well as other forms of printmaking, including etching and screenprint.
