Going for healthy walks in the beautiful countryside that surrounds us in Yorkshire gives me the opportunity to observe nature gently evolving around me. This alongside my passion for gardening enables me to develop my ideas inspired by nature through a tranquil colour base. My sketch book work reflects these colours in a variety of moods; reflecting both the natural world but also the manipulation of photographic images. These images I then translate into felt with a detailed hand embroidered and beaded finish. I am part of the TRIO group.
