I specialise in creating contemporary artwork for modern living spaces and commercial businesses. I carry out commissions and regularly exhibit work with various art organisations. I also work as a lecturer and arts practitioner. My work is best described as being improvisations in paint! I work in acrylics and mixed media to create highly textured tactile works. The paintings are abstract concepts that take stimuli from a variety of sources from nature. I work from my imagination and memory and I find that the impulses to create the works are emotional responses to them.
