Caro Ward is widely celebrated for her compelling paintings which engage with colour, line, space and implied movement. Her work celebrates the sprit of the horse and marks the huge relationship it has had with man and woman kind over the centuries. Many of the paintings have a mythological rather than a literal flavour and the way oil paint is loosely applied and worked contributes to create a unique body and show of work.
