Having gained a 1st class honours degree in textiles in 1991, I have been working as a designer now for 20 years. All my designs are hand painted and draw inspiration from tradition and nature. For the exhibition I will continue to use nature as a reference point, using the wonderful versatility that plants and leaves have to offer. I will combine this with my drawing skills, contemporary mark making and vibrant colour.
