In my work I use words and images to explore today's society in abstract and narrative ways. I write poetry and prose with a collaborative of writers in the North East responding to various cutting edge sciences. I like to explore the dilemmas of modern society from a personal and wider perspective in my work. I use a mix of traditional and digital media and am constantly looking for new ways of sharing my work. I also do lots of work with other people, such as schools and the community, helping them develop new skills in digital media and bring together exciting content through workshops and creative exploration to express themselves. Most of my work is in response to how the world works, whether that be inspired by cutting edge science or the changing face of society. I love taking real issues, from real people and their real stories and telling them in new and exciting ways and taking that inspiration from the most ordinary and extraordinary of ideas, to put my own abstract spin into the ether through the most ordinary and extraordinary of means.
